I’m a little interested about the outcome.
Because when someone’s Black, I fully expect the rationalizations and explanations right away. They can always justify the killing of Black people. They always do. Hell, they even arrest them and send them to prison for forty years if they survive the attempted murder.
However
In this case, what will be the outcome?
They’ve empowered the police to kill when they are “threatened” and they do so
They’ve done so here.
While generally used against Blacks and other PoC, they’ll brook no threats from White people but they don’t generally kill them, unless they’re truly that arrogant about getting away with it.
So, will anyone lose their jobs?
Will the school be sued?
Will there be “justice”?
Probably.
Will they dig into everything about this kid’s personal history to vilify and justify his death?
No.
There will probably be some sympathetic defense about his psychological state
“He just wasn’t that sort of person!”
Is what they’ve already said.
I don’t know why I bother.
I know what the outcome will be.
Something we never get anyway.
